Kid Nation Premiers Tonight

It hardly seems possible. 40 kids, 40 days, on their own with no parents and no supervision.

Their mission -- to make their own society in a deserted town.

That's the premise of the controversial new CBS reality show "Kid Nation," which premieres tonight.

Two of the participants are from right here in Kentucky.

12-year-old Kennedy, from Ashland, Kentucky, is set and ready for her small-screen debut.

Today, she was interviewed on the CBS Early Show by Harry Smith.

She says folks should stop speculating and give the controversial show a try.

You can watch Kid Nation tonight right here on WKYT, beginning at eight.

The article says two participants are from KY, yet only mentions one. Who is the other kid?
