Prison Guards Suspended After Inmate Escapes

Six prison guards in Bourbon County are facing disciplinary action after a prisoner escaped last week.

Jail officials say the guards will be suspended without pay.

Inmate Larry Crump squeezed out of a mail slot during scheduled recreation time, but jail officials say guards didn't notice he was missing for about 15 hours.

Crump was found the next day at a friend's house in Montgomery County.

GOOD! It is about time that they start disciplining the people that are responsible.
