Turning cooler to start the week

We began our Easter Sunday with clouds and light rain. As the day progressed the rain moved east and allowed for a little sunshine for parts of the Bluegrass. Winds have been breezy as a front passed and we managed to reach the mid 50s. Overnight look for partly cloudy skies and lows in the upper 30s.

There will be a stronger cold front on Monday that will briefly knock us back to Winter. A few showers will be possible through the day with highs in the lower 50s. We will struggle to get out of the 30s on Tuesday as cool and dry air settles in. It will gradually warm up through the week but temperatures will be well below normal for the start of April. After a few showers on Thursday we can look for warmer weather for opening day at Keeneland on Friday.
