Argument in Lexington leads to pepper spray, shots fired call

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - What started as a fight between two girls soon escalated into shots being fired in Lexington.

It happened early Friday morning on 5th street and Chestnut street.

Lexington police first got a call about a man shooting a gun there.

When police arrived, they found two men trying to break up a fight between two girls.

Officers used a police-grade pepper spray to separate the parties involved.

Two men were arrested and both face several charges.
