Winchester kidnapping suspect enters not guilty plea

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - A man charged with kidnapping and raping a 10-year old girl answered to the charges against him on Monday.

A not guilty plea was entered on James Bullock's behalf.

Police arrested Bullock on August 5th. According to police records, this case started when Winchester Police received a call that night about a missing 10-year old girl. Police say that girl was last seen with Bullock in the area of Banana Drive.

When officers searched Bullock's home, they say they found him hiding underneath his trailer with his arms wrapped around the girl, holding her down.

The judge kept Bullock's $250,000 cash bond in place.

His next court date is set for August 20th at 1:30 p.m.
