JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- A man is in jail Tuesday charged with a brutal New Year's Eve assault.
Investigators said Curtis Flora hit James Wallace in the head multiple times after the pair got into an argument while driving down Vince Road in Jessamine County.
Flora then took Wallace to Silverleaf Drive in Lexington where police found him with life threatening injuries, officials said.
"They had got into a verbal altercation which then led to an assault," said Deputy Anthony Purcell. "Pretty serious assault."
Wallace's condition so far has not improved. Flora is in the Jessamine County Detention Center with no bond.
