LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A woman says she was enjoying time with her family this morning when a bullet crashed through the window, missing them by just a few feet. Now they want to know who did it.

Nicole Jackson says her son and nephews were sitting on the couch watching TV and she was in the kitchen, when she heard a loud noise around 9:30 this morning.

"Four shots of 'boom, boom, boom!'," she said.

There was also the sound of crashing glass. A bullet came flying through the window, into the living room just a few feet from where the boys were on the couch.

"Freaking me out because I've got these three babies right here," she said.

Lexington Police searched the area shortly after, but whoever fired those shots was gone.

"Makes me scared being here now. I'm feeling like I want to get out of here. I'm ready to leave," Jackson said. She can't understand why anyone would target her home.

"What the hell do you all want? Why'd you come do it to my house? What did we do to you for you all to come do this? I hope you all get caught," Jackson said.

Jackson says she didn't see the vehicle. A neighbor told police it was a man in a blue car.
