CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A small, private south-central Kentucky university will spend a week raising awareness about modern-day human sex trafficking and slavery.

Students at Campbellsville University will begin a week of activities Monday as part of the End-It Movement, a national campaign to end sex trafficking and slavery.

One of the events is called "The Stand," in which participants stand for 27 hours to represent the 27 million people worldwide estimated to be held as slaves. This will begin Thursday at 2 p.m. on Campbellsville's campus. The closing celebration is scheduled for Friday at 5 p.m.
