A 12-year-old boy is recovering after he was hit by a car.
It happened Wednesday evening at Belmont Avenue and 29th Street in Ashland.
Dispatchers say the boy was airlifted to a nearby hospital. At last check, they say he appeared to be okay.
The child's name hasn't been released. The crash remains under investigation.
