LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A child is recovering after he was hit by a car while riding a bike.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday night on Market Garden Lane near Polo Club.
Lexington Police say the child rode the bike out into traffic and was hit by a car.
Police say the impact threw the child off the bike. He was taken to the hospital with what we're told are non-life threatening injuries.
