UK Basketball Coach John Calipari took part in a special town hall Friday night as part of the celebration of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior holiday.
The forum, held at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, discussed the current image of the African-American athlete.
Among the topics Coach Cal talked about, the success of his players off the court.
"My hope is as I bring players in, some of them go right to the league. If they leave after a year or two, they've realized their dream. But we've graduated over 80 percent of the kids that stayed four years. The others went and became professionals," Calipari said.
Others on the panel included director Spike Lee and track and field athlete Marion Jones.
