Cooler air settles back into the region

Milder air gave us a very nice Easter weekend with the exception of a little rain. Now as we begin the new week the weather will once again change as Winter-like temperatures return.

After a few morning showers our skies will clear as we head into the overnight hours. Lows will be quite chilly behind the cold front tonight, dipping to 27. A cool sunshine settles into the region for the middle of the week. Highs will stay in the 40s on Tuesday with breezy winds and lows down to the 20s. Temperatures will be running about 10-15 degrees below normal as well on Wednesday.

It won't be much warmer on Thursday as highs reach near 50. A few showers will be possible with warmer air surging in just before the weekend. Between Thursday night and early Friday we will likely see some rain. Then more Spring-like weather is expected as highs reach into the 60s and possibly 70s by early next week. After a very cold Winter it looks as though the pattern is about to change.
