Police need your help finding some people they say caused a lot of damage during a copper theft.

Kentucky State Police say the thieves stole copper from a KU Electric substation in Spencer County.

In the process, however, police say the suspects cut the wrong ground wire, causing three large transformers to explode.

Police say the suspects likely have burns, eye damage, or hearing damage.

They say the thieves only got away with $50 worth of copper.
