ADAIR COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A crash in southern Kentucky killed a woman Monday evening.
It happened in Columbia on Highway 61 at the bypass.
State Police say 44-year-old Glenda Downey, of Jamestown, ran a red light, causing her car to hit another car.
Police say Downey died at the scene. A passenger in her vehicle, 79-year-old Mary Huff, of Russell Springs, was airlifted at UK Hospital where she's in stable condition.
