Roger Dean was shot and killed inside a Davis Street Home Sunday night.
“It’s just hard to believe, you know, don’t know what the deal was,” said Bobby Blevins, who knew the victim.
Dean laid carpet for years and many people say he and his family were respected people.
“Just a well liked guy….a good guy..everybody liked him,” said Blevins.
Police say when they arrived at the crime scene about 9 p.m. Sunday, they found Jimmy Massengale standing in the middle of the road with his hands in the air.
No motive was released by police..only that the two men had been arguing before the gunfire.
“I really don’t know what happened…or anything….but he was a good guy…a well liked guy,” said Blevins.
Massengale was charged with murder…..Dean’s body was went to Frankfort for an autopsy but police say he was shot three times in the chest with a .22 rifle.
