Deputies investigating another armed robbery in southern Laurel County

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Deputies tell us they're on the scene of yet another armed robbery near North Corbin.

We're told by Laurel County deputies and store employees that a lone gunman walked into the Laurel Lake Shell gas station at 9:20 p.m. on Highway 770 near I-75 Exit 29 near North Corbin.

We're told the man pulled out a semi-automatic pistol, and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He's described as a white man, possibly in his 50's, wearing a red shirt, covered by a blue sweatshirt with a Nike emblem across the front, wearing a brown coat with a hood over his head. He was also wearing a blue bandana over his head, as well.

This is one of four armed robberies in the North Corbin area in the past two weeks.
