Small earthquake reported in Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - There are reports from the United States geological survey's website that there was a small earthquake right here in Kentucky.

The USGS website says it happened this morning just fifteen miles north of Hyden, in Clay County.

The quake was reportedly nearly thirty-thousand feet deep.

Dispatchers tell us they have no reports of anyone feeling the earthquake.
