"We are here, in a common cause, which is the American way. And I believe in the American way."

Stella Napier came from Ohio to visit her husbands site.

"It's right up in there somewhere. It might be over there, I don't know. 347 was the number," said Napier as she looked for the marker.

And after some help from a Patriot Guard member, she found site 347.

"He's Marine all the way...bye baby," Napier said after she placed flowers by the headstone.

This was the first Memorial Day ceremony for the James and Kesha Frazier of Nicholasville was there for their Memorial Day since their son's death.

"This is where he wanted to be if something happened to him. He chose this cemetery. When he enlisted, they get to choose. So this is where he wanted to be," said Kesha Frazier.

"He loved it. He loved being in the Navy, he loved being in the military," Frazier continued.

"I've said every time I come out here, if I could just crawl in there with him I would. I could stay out here all day, everyday. It wouldn't bother me. It's just, it's a peace out here," Frazier said.
