LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington fire crews worked quickly to knock down a fire at an apartment complex on East Reynolds road near Lansdowne.

Investigators say a tenant at the Fayette Crossings Apartments had been smoking a cigarette and tossed the butt onto a second floor deck--catching that deck on fire.

Firefighters say everyone in the building was evacuated, and they contained the damage to just two units.

Nobody was hurt.
