Fire destroys part of downtown Shelbyville

SHELBYVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Fire destroyed part of a Kentucky city's downtown early Wednesday morning.

Flames ripped through three buildings at 7th and Main Street in Shelbyville.

The fire caused one of the buildings to collapse, causing even more damage to the block.

People living in nearby apartments had to evacuate, but no one was hurt in the fire.
