LLOYD, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say they have charged four more people in connection to a double slaying that happened in 2008 in Greenup County.
The Independent cited police in reporting that those arrested on Thursday include 23-year-old Chrissie Bertram-Royster, 22-year-old Sammy Bertram, 23-year-old Willie Burns and 23-year-old Ashley Craft, all of Garrison in Lewis County.
Police say Bertram-Royster and Bertram face charges of murder, robbery, arson and tampering with evidence in the deaths of 45-year-old Jeffery Long and 21-year-old Pamela Wills. Police say Burns faces murder, robbery and tampering charges, and Craft faces a conspiracy to commit robbery charge.
The newspaper reports Bertram-Royster's husband, 24-year-old Mitchell Royster, was indicted in 2010 on charges of murder and arson and will testify against the others as part of a plea deal.
Jail records don't indicate whether the suspects have attorneys.
