The city of Lexington will be giving away mulch for free over the next couple of weeks.
The mulch will be available for pick up on Saturday, July 14 and Saturday, July 21 from 8 a.m. until noon or until the supply is gone, according to city officials.
The mulch, which was collected from yard waste, can be picked up at the former city landfill site, 1631 Old Frankfort Pike.
Signs will be posted.
