LEXINGTON, Ky. Police are searching for the gunman who forced three employees into a fast food freezer during a hold-up.
It happened just before 1:30 Friday morning at the McDonald's on Leestown Road. Employees say a man climbed through the drive-through window, armed with a gun.
He then forced two employees into the freezer and made a third employee open the cash register at gunpoint. Police say he then walked the third employee to the freezer and told her to stay in there for five minutes.
Police say he got away with about $1,500 dollars. He was last seen running toward Kroger.
Police say the gunman was a black man, about 6' tall. He was wearing a gray hoodie, blue pants and red rag over his face.
