Harrison Co. woman dies after being hit by car

HARRISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A Harrison County woman has died a day after she was hit by a car.

Cynthiana police say 55-year-old Judy Snedeker was hit by a car Monday afternoon while walking at the intersection of Church Street and Pleasant Street.

Snedeker was first taken to Harrison County Memorial Hospital before being transferred to UK hospital.

The Fayette County Coroner pronounced her dead early Tuesday morning. The coroner says she died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Her death is being investigated as an accident.

Ware Funeral Home in Cynthiana is handling her arrangements.
