Hearing has been continued

A hearing for a former sheriff, who admitted to using his job to deal drugs and steal money, has been continued.

Lawrence Hodge has already been sentenced to 15-and-a-half years in prison on federal charges for taking 150-thousand dollars from the Whitley County Sheriff's Department.

Monday's hearing was going to deal with state charges of abuse of the public trust.

An investigation is also now underway into how much money Hodge is spending while he is locked up.

If he took 150,000 Dollars of the taxe payers money , then what he has bought during his time as sheriff should be seized and sould along with his other belongings, and if that does not get the money back then should have to work and pay it back whenever he has served his time. And he should have to serve every day, because people work hard to get what they have then some low life like this steel it,s.
