BATH COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The buzz of chainsaws filled the air as friends and family rushed in to help after a massive tree topples over in a storm.
"I have a very good family. They're always there," bragged Angel Guian.
The storm was brief, but strong as the wild wind worked its way over the Wildwood Subdivision and Guian's house.
"You couldn't even see out the window, me and the kids just ran into the bathroom real quick," said Guian, "It just lasted for a minute. Then we came outside and the tree was over the car and in the garage. It was a mess."
A mess may be a minor way of putting it. The large tree crushed Guian's work car and fell hard onto the roof of her garage.
"I'm destroyed about my car," she said, "It's just stuff. Everybody's okay and that's all that matters. "
Guian's tree wasn't the only one to fall during the intensity if the storm, other neighbors walked out to find limbs laying across their yard as well, signs pointing to the direction the wind traveled. Still, Guian was the only one with any damage.
"Yeah it was pretty scary."
While the storm has moved on, it may take a little longer before Guian and her family can do the same.
