Highway to be named after Montgomery County soldier

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky soldier killed in Afghanistan will soon have a highway named after him.

The Kentucky State Highway Department says a portion of Highway 460 in Montgomery County will be named after Pvt. 1st Class Dustin Gross.

The 19-year-old was killed in May 2012 by an improvised explosive devise.

The "PFC Dustin Gross Memorial Highway" will run from Camargo to Jeffersonville.

A sign for the highway will be unveiled during a ceremony on Saturday, May 4th.
