A break-in was caught on tape Thursday, and a family is now missing more than $18,000 in jewelry.

The crystal clear images of the two burglars, breaking into a Berea home, were recorded on a home surveillance system.

"When I walked in the house, I noticed the inside door was open," explained Fred Pocius, "I walked into the bedroom, and here my wife's jewelry armoire is busted up. There's drawers all over the floor, all the cards and junk like that are laying there."

He says almost $20,000 in jewelry was gone.

"My wife's jewelry, tennis bracelets, engagement ring, her mother's ring that she had, a whole bunch of family stuff."

His only consolation, is catching the crooks on tape. Pocius has half a dozen security cameras on his property, and almost every one of them picked up images of the two men.

"The brazen of some people. Unbelievable," says Pocius.

He thinks someone will recognize the men, and he's hoping whoever does calls Kentucky State Police.

"I hope to get my wife's stuff back, that's the first thing. And then the law can deal with the two individuals and I hope they go away for a long, long time."
