Baptist Healthcare hospitals get new names

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Some Kentucky hospitals, including Central Baptist, have gotten new names.

Central Baptist Hospital is now called Baptist Health Lexington.

Signs with the new name were turned on Tuesday night outside the hospital on Nicholasville Road.

The Baptist Healthcare System operates seven hospitals across Kentucky.

Those hospitals will all be called Baptist Health to unify the company's services.
