Investigating a deadly wildfire

PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) - Investigators who've arrived in Prescott, Ariz. from around the U.S. are looking into what caused the nation's biggest loss of firefighters since 9/11.

Meanwhile, local fire officials say the sole man left of a 20-person crew of elite firefighters was acting as a lookout when the fire raced out of control Sunday, killing his 19 colleagues.

A Prescott Fire Department spokesman says Brendan McDonough notified the crew of the changing wind conditions before leaving his post and did exactly what he was supposed to do.
