Lexington Winery forced to shut down due to water line break

A Central Kentucky winery is closing early due to a water line break.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Central Kentucky winery is closing early due to a water line break.

An employee at the Jean Farris Winery tells WKYT the winery is closing early tonight.

The employee says a water line break has forced them to shut down for the day. The winery cannot operate without any water.

The winery is located on Old Richmond Road.

Kentucky American Water confirms they do have an alert in their system for this area.
