Laurel Co. man arrested for burglary, running from police

LAUREL CO, Ky. (WKYT) - Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man, they say, broke into a house and then ran away from them.

The Laurel County sheriff's office charged David McQueen, 33, with burglary and fleeing and evading police.

A burglar alarm sent deputies to a home on US 25 last night.

They say they saw McQueen at a barn nearby but he ran off.

Deputies say they soon found a vehicle nearby with things stolen from the home, and a cell phone belonging to McQueen, that led them to him.
