Sheriff's office offering a reward for information in robberies

CORBIN, Ky. (WKYT) - We have new information about a string of robberies at Laurel County businesses.

The Laurel County sheriff's office says Cumberland Valley Crime Stoppers is now offering a $1,000 reward for information in the case.

So far police have not made any arrests.

In the last two weeks a B-P gas station, a Shell station, and a tobacco store in the Corbin area have all been robbed at gunpoint. The B-P station was robbed twice.

The sheriff's office says they're following up on some promising leads in the case.
