Lexington police arrest man in connection with Subway robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police say they have arrested the man who robbed a Lexington restaurant at gunpoint.

Police have charged 34-year-old Jeffrey Martin with Robbery, Fleeing and Evading and Criminal Trespassing.

An employee at the Subway on North Broadway says Martin pulled a gun on him last week and stole nearly $300 in cash from the store. A few days later, that same employee saw Martin walking near downtown Lexington and called police.

After a short foot chase, police cornered Martin and arrested him.
