Lexington police arrest two teens for car break-ins

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police say they've arrested two juveniles who were up to no good in a neighborhood that has seen a recent rash of car break-ins in Lexington.

Police say the spotted the 13 and 14-year-old boys on Spring Run Road off Boston Road, around 2:30am Tuesday morning.

The teens ran from police and tried to hide in some bushes, but were eventually caught. Police say the teens hit at least six cars.

Both were charged with Possession of Burglary Tools and Receiving Stolen Property along with some drug charges.
