Lexington police investigate shooting near downtown

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are investigating a shooting near downtown Lexington.

It happened Monday afternoon outside the Marathon station on North Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Lexington police say a the victim was in an argument with someone inside a car when he was shot. The victim was rushed to the hospital with what is believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Lexington police took two men into custody on Florence Avenue in connection to the shooting. No word yet on if the men have been charged.
