LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have issued an arrest warrant for the suspect involving a shooting that happened late Saturday night.
The Fayette County Coroner released the identify of the victim as 22-year-old Anthony Logan of Lexington.
Police say at 11:30 Saturday night they responded to a shooting at Cambridge Place.
When they arrived, police say they found the male victim outside of the apartment complex with multiple gun shot wounds.
Police tell us Logan was involved in an argument which led to the shooting.
Regina Oxendine, Logan's older sister, says she's still in shock that her little brother was shot and killed the night they were planning to celebrate his 23rd birthday.
"For him to just lose his life that short, I just still don't believe it," said Oxendine.
The murder suspect, 28-year-old Brandon Bailey, is considered armed and dangerous.
The victim's family says they just want justice.
"When you do multiple shots, that means you are attempting to take somebody's life. It's not like one shot and you're gone. It was four shots!" said Oxendine.
Anyone with information about Bailey's whereabouts should call police immediately at (859) 258-3600 or 911.
Funeral arrangements for the victim are still pending at this time.
There will be a memorial for Logan on Monday night at the scene of the deadly shooting on Cambridge Drive.
