LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The head of the Kentucky Derby Festival says Academy Award-winning actress and Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence has a standing invitation to be grand marshal of the annual Pegasus Parade. But it won't be this year. She's too busy.

Festival President and CEO Mike Berry told The Courier-Journal the organization asked even before this year's Academy Awards ceremony, when she received an Oscar for "Silver Linings Playbook."

Officials also got in touch with her publicist and family after she was nominated for an Academy Award in 2011 for "Winter's Bone," but Berry says so far, Lawrence has been in such demand that she hasn't be available for the parade.

He says he hopes she has time another year to serve as grand marshal.
