Man arrested for robbery on Georgetown College campus

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) Police have a arrested the man they say is responsible for causing security fears at Georgetown College after he robbed three students.

The Scott County Jail says Charles Johnson is in custody, charged with three counts of robbery.

Johnson is accused of holding up two Georgetown College students late last month. The robbery led to the College being placed on lock-down.

Police later recovered the students' stolen wallets and iPhone.

Jail leaders say Johnson is also accused of robbing a pizza delivery driver.
