Man arrested in Laurel County after chase on I-75

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- A wild scene on Interstate 75 Monday afternoon as a man led police on a chase for 30 miles.

Kentucky State Police were working on behalf of the FBI to catch Russell Little. He was wanted on a warrant out of Madison County for terroristic threatening and harassing communications.

Little, 40, was spotted on I-75 northbound around mile marker 33 in Laurel county. Officers attempted to pull his car over, but he refused to stop. The chase lasted more than 30 miles, ending near mile marker 66 in Rockcastle county. Police had to temporarily close the interstate to arrest Little They say he had a gun in the car. He was arrested without any issues or harming anyone.

"Anytime you can prevent someone from getting injured. It's good," said Trooper Lloyd Cochran with Kentucky State Police

We're told he was taken to a local hospital to be checked out before going to the Laurel County jail. The FBI will investigate the threats Little is accused of.
