Freddy Couch
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man for killing his roommate. Freddy Couch told deputies he found his roommate, 36-year-old Kenneth Vincent, dead in the living room of their home on Laurel Road , 5 miles east of London, back on April 29.
The two had reportedly been in an altercation, following an argument. Couch told deputies Vincent used a knife during the altercation, and Couch scuffled with him. He says he was able to overpower Vincent. Deputies say alcohol was involved. No police or medical help was sought by either man following the fight.
Deputies say both men reportedly went to sleep, Couch in the bedroom and Vincent in the living room floor. Couch told deputies he found Vincent dead when he woke up.
Sheriff's deputies say it has since been determined, through physical evidence, interviews with persons who had been at the scene, and autopsy results that Vincent had been severely beaten to death.
