Man fires shot during argument with roommate

There were some tense moments Friday when Lexington police say a man fired a shot during an argument with his roommate.

It happened late Friday afternoon in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Grayson Lake Drive.

Lexington police say the shot did not hit anyone.

However, when they showed up, they say the suspect ran off and even dropped the gun during the chase.

They caught him outside a nearby shopping center.

He's charged with wanton endangerment.
