LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - We continue to track the search for a murder suspect that police call armed and dangerous.
Lexington Police say Brandon Bailey, 28, shot and killed Anthony Logan, 22, on Cambridge Drive late Saturday night.
Police have a warrant out for Bailey's arrest. He will be charged with murder once he's caught.
Logan's family says they were nearby when the shots rang out. Logan had plans to celebrate his 23rd birthday the night he died.
"For him to just lose his life that short, it was just...I still don't believe it," says Logan's sister Regina Oxendine. "I'm just waiting on him to call me."
Logan's family marked the spot where he died with candles. There will be a memorial for him at the scene at 7 p.m. Monday.
Funeral arrangements for Logan are still pending.
