Missing inmate back in jail

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A convicted rapist that escaped jail on Friday is back in jail.

Police say 23-year-old, Robert Wilson escaped from the old Hardin County jail on Friday.

We're told police received a tip from a resident, which led them to an apartment complex where he was found by the Elizabethtown police department.

They say he was waiting to be moved to the new jail on Friday, when a corrections worker went to get his belongings, and Wilson walked out an open door.
