U.S., (WKYT) - NASA has selected 12 proposals for study under Phase I of the NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) Program, which tries to turn science fiction into fact through developing technology.

Some of those proposals include creating a submarine to explore the methane lakes of Titan, and creating something to safely capture space debris.

The proposals were chosen based on their ability to transform future aerospace missions by enabling new missions or creating breakthroughs.
