A devastating tornado outbreak hit Kentucky nearly one year ago, killing 24 people statewide. West Liberty was one of the hardest hit cities that day. Two filmmakers from West Liberty are making a documentary about the tornado. And tonight we have more of the never-before seen video they'll be using.

It is bone chilling video only released to two filmmakers in West Liberty creating a documentary of the March 2nd tornado that devastated the town. Cell phone video from survivors and surveillance footage show just how scary those moments were during the twister. Nate Lewis and Timothy Boatright, creators of the 90 minute documentary called "Path of Prevalence," describe the video.

"One video is from inside Little Caesars when the tornado hit the actually go inside the cooler. It's really dramatic emotional. There's a lot of screaming," says Nate Lewis.

The video goes black...but the sounds of horror are still captured as the tornado rips the building apart. One woman begins praying.

"The footage we have has never been seen before and not anywhere on the internet," adds Lewis.

The next video is surveillance from a bank. You see a few tiles cave in then the whole roof goes and the video fades to black. Inside the employees scurry to a safe place...moments before the front wall of the bank disappears and the roof falls in.

"People were just in utter chaos. They didn't know what to do. I could see it in their eyes. I think for most people it felt like the world ended right there in West Liberty," says Timothy Boatright.

The filmmakers say it's hard to set a release date for "Path of Prevalence" because the rebuilding process is still ongoing.
