New hearing set for Farmer

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - A hearing has now been set for former Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Richie Farmer to change his plea to government corruption charges.

According to the US Attorney's office Farmer will be re-arraigned next Friday, at the federal courthouse in Frankfort.

Thursday, Farmer announce he wants to plead guilty.

As a part of a proposed plea deal Farmer would spend two years in prison, and pay more than $120,000 in restitution and fines.
