Nicholasville Police release pictures of battery thefts

Nicholasville, KY (WKYT) - Nicholasville Police are looking for help in identifying suspects caught on surveillance cameras at Stokley’s Marine.

Sometime between 3:00pm and 6:00pm on the morning of November 15th, three men entered Stokley’s lot and removed 25-30 marine batteries from boats that were for sale on the lot. Police say the subjects caused over $8,000 damage to the boats as they cut the batteries out of them. The total value of the stolen batteries is $2,700.

Police released photos taken from surveillance cameras on the Stokley’s Marine lot. Anyone with any information is asked to call Nicholasville Police at 859 885-9467.
