Online sale goes wrong in Lexington for second time in a week

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - For the second time in the past week, an online sale has gone wrong in Lexington. But this time, one of the suspects turned himself in.

According to police, the victim made an agreement online to meet at the Jimmy John's off Maple Leaf Drive to sell a pair of shoes.

Police say, when the victim arrived, four suspects jumped out at him. We're told one of them was armed with a gun. They took the shoes and ran off.

Lexington police say, a short time later, one of the suspects approached an officer and turned himself. He told police he wanted to return the shoes.

Police arrested him and charged him with complicity to robbery. They are still searching for the other three suspects.
