Overnight fire in Bourbon County is being called susicious

BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A fire that destroyed a storage building in Bourbon County is under investigation.

Firefighters were called to a home on Old Main Street in the Millersburg community around 2:30 Monday morning.
When they arrived, they found a storage building engulfed in flames. The fire was so intense that it melted a boat that was inside the building.

The owner tells WKYT that he rented to the building out for storage. He also says that someone broke into the building a few weeks ago, but that nothing was taken.

The fire chief tells WKYT that at this point, they do not know what caused the fire. Fire officials say they will likely have an arson dog come to the scene later Monday afternoon.
